Well, today we made it all the way into Indiana. We rode Hwy. 50 most of the way because even though it was busy, it had a good shoulder most of the way, had fewer climbs, and was more direct. Actually, I think the draft created by passing trucks on the same side of the road help offset the breeze against us which tends to slow us down. Lots of riding today with minimal rest. An annonymous nice man paid for our campsite when he saw us pedal in. Nice. 87 miles.

John, 8, plays violin, great Bible quizzer, fast runner, good reader; special skills-annoying brothers; likes ice-cream and video games. 9. Sarah, 5, cute, lovable, "the baby"; playful and funny. That's the family.

Nice to hear from you. How's everything at Monte Vista?
We're still going strong, as you can see. I'll try to keep up with the blog; it's hard sometimes. All is going well. We've been having a wonderful time these last few days with our relatives in Indiana, such a loving and encouraging group. I wish we could stay longer, but we must press on on after Labor Day.
